PMI Risk Management Professional certification is an international, vendor-neutral credential designed to ensure skills and knowledge required for computer support technicians to assess and identify project risks while mitigating threats and capitalizing on opportunities. PMI-RMP exam objectives are as follows:

Requirements for PMI Risk Management Professional Certification

To apply for the PMI-RMP, you need to have either:

  • Secondary degree (high school diploma, associate's degree, or the global equivalent)
  • 4,500 hours of project risk management experience
  • 40 hours of project risk management education

OR

  • Four-year degree (bachelor's degree or the global equivalent)
  • 3,000 hours of project risk management experience
  • 30 hours of project risk management education
